Burn, Baby Burn!
Late yesterday, I decided that I'd take today off. It's a rare opportunity that presented itself - and I couldn't resist.
I got up at 5am, worked out, got tons of chores done around the house. Lunch time rolled around and I put a mini flatbread pizza in the oven to warm. As my cheesy za is in the oven, I phone the store. Suddenly, I see out the corner of my eye that flames are coming from the oven! I scream "I'll call ya back" into the phone and threw it on the counter. Poor Droid. I open the oven door and the aluminum foil covered in cheese drippings from many previous meals was on fire! Lots of fire! Lots of flames! Oddly enough I had the common sense to grab the baking soda and throw it onto the flames! As I watched the flames die, and my dream of a hot lunch fade, I laughed as I realized the irony of the event. I was on the phone with the Fire Chief's wife!!

Classic! Irony, tragedy (the loss of the za), comedy, quick thinking...you're a superhero and I'm proud to call you my friend.
