Creeky Courtrooms
Random things on my mind today:
1. My friend Erin's layered cake, featured in today's U-Bake Newsletter. WHAT? You don't subscribe?
2. I had a first today - Jury Duty Selection. It was an eye opening experience to see how it all worked. I did have quite the "ear" opening experience too. My name was called, I got up and walked through the silent courtroom and there were my creeky knees, making their presense known. Sigh.....
3. Oktoberfest is around the corner! My absolute favorite day of the year is the Maple Leaf Parade. I can't wait! Buy your buttons in Holmen locations and your purchase will help to raise funds for the Coulee Region Humane Society's Pet Therapy Program!
4. My toaster died today. I haven't bought a toaster for YEARS and didn't realize how expensive they can be for a four slicer!
