So did you notice when Ryan glided down the stairs and announced the name of the show he said "Very Live"? Huh? As opposed to almost sorta live?? Is that like The Princess Bride mostly dead? Me confused.
My man Adam was first and you KNOW it had to be a kick for Slash as much as Adam to work together. Adam CAN ROCK! So he does Whole Lotta Love by Zepplin and he comes out on stage in full rock ragalia. You just KNOW he's gonna burn up the stage. And it was guuuuuud. I was totally head banging! He left only ashes behind for the other 3. Voted.
Allison does Cry Baby by Joplin and I can only think of the movie with John Travolta and Kirstie Alley in Look Who's Talking when the baby keeps bawling all the time. Anyway, I dig Allisons extensions. It was good. She sang her face off as they say. I kinda wish she didn't do that well...I'd rather see Kris in the final 3.
Duet Time - Kris and Danny do Renegade by Styx. Incredibly awesome song!!! Together they really did sound amazing. Kris struggled a bit - I thought maybe an oxygen mask would fall out from the ceiling and help him along!
Kris does Come Together by the Fab Four. Carly did this last year and rocked it. Kris' version: mostly horrid - and he's just too sweet for "toe jam football" to roll off the toungue. Dang, I wish he did better. I'm sure he's gone tonight. Sigh...
Dan the Man is up and does a little Aerosmith. It was all pretty good until the end. That laaaaassst note that took forever. Terrible screech. Like a raw frog sannie, it went down hard. The most unreal part came when our darling Kara had comments for Danny. She said she wished he would have done some older Aerosmith. Hello - Dream On was from 1973! The 2 songs she quoted were from the 90's. Wow, Kara. You're some musical genious. I threw a few votes his way anyway. Still heart you, Danny!
Duet Time - Allison & Adam do Slow Ride and what a fun ride it was. They were AwEsOmE!!! That duet def. helped keep Allison for just one more week. Me thinks these two should do a little something together on tour this summer.
