Shopping Day!

I worked a whole 4 hours today and MAN, does it feel good.  Cuz if you know me, you know I go into the store almost 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  I took a total of about 9 days off in 2008.  I was recovering from 2 surgeries for most of those and was away at conferences for the other.  So today I decided to just go in and get the books done and a few other pressing things and off I went.  My main goal for the day was to get ONE outfit for 3 fun upcoming events.  Bridal Shower, Grandma's 100th Birthday Party and the Catered For Kids Sake event.  Hubby would be so proud ~ 1 for 3.  And you know what?  I did it.  I headed straight for City Wear in downtown La Crosse and got the CUTEST pink and white jacket, matching pink top and a black tank for good measure.  Pair that with my black capri's and I'm good to go.  I stopped into Herberger's on the way home and got the most comfortable yet stylin' pair of black sandals.  They even have a heel. And, I don't do heels much.  They kinda scare me.  So, I'm pretty pumped about my slammin' outfit for 3 events.  Let's just hope none of the same people will be at 2 parties!!!  Yikes.
