Ahhhh, working from home!
Well, Hey! Welcome to my new blog! What will this blog be about you ask? Well, good question. I'm not sure - lots of stuff. LOTS and lots of stuff! Why? Cuz I have lots to say! Just ask my husband.
So, I decided to work at home this afternoon. Sometimes this can be a good thing and there are days like today, when it can be a bad thing. Follow me here - I leave the store around 11am and quick run into Herberger's to make a return from a purchase in November. I procrastinated a bit...then I hit Michaels, again to make a return. That $3.71 will come in handy. There were noises coming from the Scrapbooking aisle and suddenly a strange gravitational pull was upon me. I caved. Yeah, that $3.71 - It's gone. I finally get home and the dogs greet me with filthy tennis balls - we played catch for a while. I dawdled for about another 1/2 hour. Now, its 1:30 - I eat lunch, flip on the tube and remember I still haven't watched last weeks episode of Lost. Well, I can't put this off any longer right? 45 minutes later I sitll haven't done any "work". The kitchen tiles reminded me that it was my turn to make a move on Wordscrapper. (The scrabble-like facebook game addiction). I made my move. 22 points. I read an article from the latest "Success" magazine - hey, thats "work", right? I baked up a batch of Sugar Cookies, boxed up some donations for Good Will, put away laundry from Sunday and well, now its 5:00. Quitting time!
I'm warming up some Chili for dinner now and am REALLY looking forward to American Idol tonight! More on that later.
Peace, Love & Rock and Roll, Baby!

Isn't it a kick that we gals measure a good day by how much work we get done at the nest, while our boyish counterparts will generally measure a great day by how much they relaxed. Don't tell the guys I said this, but they really do have this figured out!
